The 411 on Me
My name is Jessica and I have been trying to find the time to learn more about blogging and how to create my own blog. I'm a student and a newbie when it comes to blogging. But what I want to do requires me having my own blog, so here I am starting with both feet and I hope to accomplish having my own blog within the next six month and formally introduce it to the world.

I Dream of a Blogger's Life
I consider myself a fairly decent writer. In fact, writing for the most part comes natural to me. Not always, but most times. I've written news briefs for medical newsletters, annual report features for a medical college and even worked as beat reporter for a few TV stations in the U.S. Boring, right? For me, blogging with be a creative outlet and one in which I can let my hair down and write with more freedom.
At age 50, I now want a life where I can share my interests and passions with you and anyone in the world who will listen. I currently have a blog for a small marketing business I started a few years ago. When I got my first comments my eyes lit up and got wide. I felt like I was seeing a new child being born. It was amazing. I haven't studied blogging, but I've researched it and I'm always looking to learn from others. So, here I am.
I dream of a blogger's life and the freedom to speak your mind. I want to spend my mornings writing blogs and my afternoons doing other things I love like swimming, jogging or walking my dog. I dream of a life where I work in my PJs from the comfort of my apartment, which is what I'm doing now.
Writing and engaging people around the world seems so unreal and I'm trying to figure out how to go for it and make a good living at it. Blogging is more exciting (and scary) to me than any job I've had previously. So, I'm seeking more knowledge to calm my fears and strengthen my skills.
I dream of writing blogs about travel, arts, design, starting and managing an urban farm, fashion, nutrition, or whatever. From where I stand a blogger's world is like an oyster waiting to be cracked open to reveal a beautiful and rare pearl inside. You can write on just about anything your heart desires. To me, that's priceless.
More about me? I've lived in the Southeast for more than 20 years but I'm a native Chicagoan who suddenly desires to move back home. Even this winter's artic blast hasn't changed my mind. How crazy is that?
I found your website during an internet search for blog writing courses and I wanted to give it a shot before deciding to go further. Thanks for giving us a sample of what you teach. Cheers!

All About Me
All About Me
Whats my reason for blogging?
Well I've decided to start a business and this is the reason for my blogging. This isn't my first introduction to blogging, however, I have seen many blog posts in many different topic areas.
I am very excited to embark on this journey of words and thoughts and opinions to share with the masses.

Something Old Something New Something Borrowed
Hello everyone, my name is Renee and I'm feeling really low today. I have been around for a long time and I'm new to the blogging world. Sure everyone is doing it. That's nice to say, "hey everyone's doing it you should too, I'm just talking about blogging". I have always thought that surfing the web and looking at funny videos on Youtube was a way to past the time. I mean I did this for years. Watching the models fall on their face, or watch a light fall on a reporters head, funny stuff. Then I got into Myspace. Oh man this was before Facebook was the place to be. I would spend hours and I mean hours in front of my friends computer, changing the background, putting together a picture slideshow, while putting together a playlist of songs I downloaded um like a million hours before. My friends would ask me to hook their page up too. But I never thought to blog. Sure I may have wrote thoughts out in the blog area of Myspace, but I never took it serious. And then Facebook started to pop off son. I mean EVERYONE was on. When your parents want you as a friend on Facebook and your children don't want you as a friend, how are you suppose to feel about that. Well again here I am. I call my self an old bird. I mean internet, computers, all this technology has been around, maybe not as advanced now (and it's only going to get better), I never thought that I would share my inner voice. I have some know how on how to blog. But I love to surf the web and try to find others that want to give free information away. It's like going to school again, but in your own livingroom and you are the principal. If your reading this, I want to say thank you. I have thought about it. I am the something old, the blogging for me is something new, and the information that I find online is the something borrowed.

Hi.
The blogging world has long since intrigued me for several reasons. For starters, I love to talk. My mind rushes through a whirlwind of ideas and in an epiphany I realized I need a blog for my friends and others to get a peak of those. My passion has always been fashion and styling. Along with that I have been a content writer by profession. Bored by the drag job and the bleak prospects, I decided to take the onus of my professional growth on my self. What could I think of after mixing writing and fashion together? A fashion blog!

Getting to Know Me
50+ years ago I was born to a very young couple in NY. They escaped the city to raise a brood of 6 wild ones on the shore of Long Island. we were loud, hungry, dirty, and curious, and barely took time to sleep while we all raced in circles around our, neighbors, classmates, and church friends. It wasn't always pretty but it was always glorious.
Being the eldest daughter had it's responsibilities and expectations but only so far as to keep within the confines of the ever changing society of the 60's and 70's. My parents never clipped my wings completely as they watched their dreams of raising a traditional domestic young woman slip ever further away. Boys were supposed to be the athletes. Boys were supposed to study science in college. Boys were supposed to leave the nest for foreign exotic places, not girls.
With many a tear my folks watched me drive away that September day for parts west of NY, wondering when or if they would ever see me again. Triumphs and failures would follow. Falling out and falling into favor would happen. The story is still unfolding but the circle remains intact.
